Half-inch wall foam pipe insulation engineered to suppress radiant heat loss on hot-water runs and prevent surface condensation on supply pipes in unconditioned spaces. Each tube is slit longitudinally for push-on installation — no adhesive, no tape, no waiting for a cure window. Closed-cell cross-linked polyethylene stays dimensionally stable from 40 °F crawl spaces through 180 °F hot-water lines. Pre-slit design makes it practical for DIY installs and rapid mechanical-room retrofits alike.

Installation & Usage

  • Apply in the direction of the thread — clockwise on standard male threads.
  • Wrap 3–5 turns for potable water, 6–8 turns for gas or vacuum lines.
  • Keep a small gap between the first wrap and the pipe end to prevent shredding.
  • Verify a leak-free run after the first pressurization and re-tighten if needed.

What's Included

  • Foam Pipe Insulation (6-Pack) — 1 unit as described
  • All required mounting or connecting hardware (see spec sheet for details)
  • Printed quick-start guide with safety warnings
  • Packaged for direct-from-Florida fulfillment

Care & Maintenance

  • Inspect threads before each use — discard tape if it appears frayed or shredded.
  • Store PTFE rolls in a dry location away from direct sunlight to prevent brittling.
  • Replace aerator inserts during annual fixture servicing for best flow performance.
